What is Black Friday?

Black Friday is a term used to describe the day after the USA holiday of Thanksgiving, which falls on the fourth Thursday of November each year. It is regarded as the beginning of the gift shopping season, and many companies offer significant discounts and promotional sales on this day. It is known to draw large crowds, long lines, and competitive shopping environment. In the past years, Black Friday has since expanded to other countries and is now considered a major online and instore shopping event worldwide.

How long will the sales last?

Some companies begin their sales mid-November and generally run through to Black Friday (24th November 2023), Cyber Monday (27th November 2023) or, on occasion, Travel Tuesday (28th November 2023). I’d recommend checking each individual company’s sales conditions to see when their sales kick-off and finish to ensure you don’t leave it too late and miss out!
